Is This The Right Course For Me?
This class is for you if you are a complete newbie or for those of you who may be a little rusty and would like to get back into Jewellery making after a break!
We understand how daunting it is to start something new and how easy it is to lose it, if you don’t use it 😊
We pride ourselves on small intimate classes, this is so that;
1. You, our students feel comfortable in your new explorations
2. Our teachers can really get to know you and help and guide you through each class.
Our introductory course is the perfect place to start! If you're still unsure if this is right course for you, we recommend trying one of our taster classes, which are €75 and run for approx 2.5 hours! This will give you an idea of what’s to come.
How Long Does The Course Run For?
We offer a 9-week course, usually held on Saturdays, from 10:00am – 1:00pm. Next dates are yet to be confirmed, however, please do drop us an email if you are interested so we can keep you up to date!
Why Learn With Silver Works?
Unlike traditional institutions, our priority is to help you learn and develop a new skill, not profit.
This is why we offer only 8 places within our course, so you get the most out of each class.
You will be taught by a highly experienced gold-smith/silver-smith with an abundance of teaching experience.
You will learn all the basic skills needed for traditional silver-smithing techniques.
On completion of this Jewellery making course, you will have learnt about:
Operate tools such as pendant drills
Solder with an Orca and a hand torch
Everything You Make, You Keep! On Completion Of The Course You Will Have Made;
A pierced pendant
A beautiful ring with a rub over bezel setting.
What Is Included:
We provide Tea and coffee
All tools and equipment, materials, drills, aprons, are provided.
How Much We Talking?
The cost of our 9-week course is €360
