This exciting, immersive Introduction to Jewellery Making Course is for you if you are a complete newbie to jewellery making or if you feel your skills are a little rusty and would like to get back into jewellery making after a break! 
Our introductory 5 week course is a Curriculum led, skills based course, the perfect place to start your journey. Our small workshop size supports you as you gain confidence, knowledge and skills as a jewellery designer and maker. 

Each week you will be guided through foundational goldsmith skills to create set projects. Over the 5 weeks you will make a silver pierced pendant or silver ring with a rub over bezel setting. Gain an insight into this incredible craft with highly-experienced goldsmiths who work full-time within the industry and have an abundance of jewellery making experience.

What will I learn in this COURSE

Learn goldsmithing
basics hands-on:

  • How to pierce (saw) and drill through metal
  • How to form a ring using pliers and texture it
  • How to solder
  • How to Bezel set a stone
  • How to polish on a polishing motor

Learn through
demonstration and
explanation:

  • The teacher has great experience in the jewellery world and will be able to answer any questions you may have about  jewellery making techniques

Whats included in the COURSE

  • Tea, coffee and chocolate
  • All tools, equipment and aprons provided at the workshop.
  • All the silver needed to make your ring.

  • Approximate cost according to what you make and the stone you choose is €25 per course.
