Design & Make 7 week

The best way to learn is by doing

Design & Make

As they say, the best way to learn is by doing! So simply sketch out your ideas and email or bring them in to us in the first class and we will help you make them. The end result being jewellery designed & made by yourself.

This course is designed for those who already have some experience jewellery making, so have a few basic skills already, but want to practice and learn more. We advise doing our 5 week Introduction to Jewellery Making course before going into this 7 week course if you are not familar with the basic metalsmithing techniques.

Our experienced teachers, who work in the industry full time are a wealth of knowledge and can guide you all of the way, showing you new techniques as you go.

As usual our class sizes are small – only 6 in a class – as this enables us to give you enough attention so you can really see yourself progress.

Benefits of Learning Jewellery Making Skills

There are many benefits to learning a new skill in general, but learning how to make jewellery specifically has its own benefits such as:

– Helps you start a new hobby and learn a highly skilled trade
– Connect back in with your creative side
– Improves focus and problem solving skills
– Unique and personalised gifts are a guarantee for your loved ones
– Working with your hands relaxes you
– There are so many different ways to do everything so you’ll have lots of fun exploring what works best for you!

Dominic, May 2022

The course is actually great, it’s a fantastic insight into the world of ring making and I personally got a lot out of being able to ask questions about the craft. Our host was charismatic, funny and insanely gifted at guiding the group through the different steps of making our rings. The studio was comfy and well equipped, and it was great getting to mingle with the different guests. Overall an experience I would recommend anyone take while they’re in Dublin, seriously it was a brilliant evening for both me and my partner 🙂 “
