Our Forge your Own Ring workshop is our most popular class! Running for approx. 2 hours, it’s the perfect starter activity to get your group chatting and laughing while creating something unique and special! Leave our city-centre studio with your hand-made sparkling or matt silver ring, the perfect reminder of your event!
Create a beautiful memento of your time together by handcrafting your own silver charm, personalised with your chosen initial. In this relaxed two-hour workshop, you’ll enjoy a creative, hands-on experience and leave with a meaningful keepsake to treasure. Once the class is complete, you’ll be perfectly placed to continue the celebration with food and drinks at some of the best spots in town.
Metal clay is a magical material that begins as soft, mouldable clay, allowing each guest to design and create a truly personal piece with their own textures, designs, or initials. Participants will witness the exciting transformation as their creations are fired and turn into real fine silver right before their eyes. Led by our experienced teachers, the session is relaxed, creative, and suitable for all skill levels. Everyone leaves with a one-of-a-kind silver keepsake and a shared experience to remember.

Perfect for private groups, you’ll discover the basics of jewellery making while crafting your own sterling silver Claddagh Ring right here in the heart of Dublin. With its iconic design, this traditional Irish ring makes a meaningful keepsake you’ve made yourself. It’s a unique, memorable way to celebrate together and take home a piece of Irish heritage you can treasure forever.
We will reach out via email to confirm the requested date and time and if unavailable we will suggest an alternative.
Confirm your details for enrolment via email and consent to the booking terms and conditions.
We will send you a payment link to pay 50% of the event upfront to secure your booking. If it is within 30 days of the event we will require full payment.
We will send you an order confirmation email, at which point your booking will become a binding contract, or we will confirm by email that we are unable to meet your booking request.
Price and Payment
A deposit of 50% is required upon booking your event if it is more than 30 days before the event. If it is within 30 days then full payment is required. We may cancel the contract between us if the amount is not received from you.
Payment must be made by credit/debit card via our online payment link OR by invoice if requested. Once payment has been received we will send you an email confirmation.
Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect bookings which have come into force.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
In order to cancel a booking, you must inform us by email at enquiries@silverworks.ie
Your cancellation must be confirmed as received by us on or before the relevant dates, as set out below. All cancellations and transfers are subject to an administrative fee of 10% of the cost of the class/course.
If your written request is received more than 30 days before the event is due to begin, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid, less the administrative fee.
If your written request is received within the 30 day period before the event, you will not be entitled to a refund for your place.
Cancellations requested after the course/event has started will not be considered. Transfer to an alternative course/event should be requested in writing at least 14 days before the course start date.
Transfer requested less than 14 days before the event may be declined unless a replacement student can be found for your place prior to the start date. If you fail to attend a course, event or class, no refund will be given, and no transfer request will be accepted.
If a class is cancelled or postponed for reasons for which we are responsible, such as staff illness, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the class to suit the majority of attendees, or add missed hours onto remaining classes.
Please note that all courses require a minimum number of attendees. If too few bookings are received, courses may be rescheduled.
Gift vouchers are not refundable in any circumstances.
If you cancel a course and are entitled to a refund, we will usually refund any money received using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days of the day we received your valid notice of cancellation.

Whether you opt for our ring making class, our charm/pendant making class or our wax carving class, you will in the workshop for approx. 2 hours.
Some of my friends want to do the ring making and others want to make a pendant or charm, can we mix the classes?
Unfortunately, we are unable to mix the classes as they involve a very different process. Your friends will need to decide on one – heads or tails or rock/paper/scissors always help if in doubt!
I want to make to gold plate my design, can I?
Yes! We offer gold plating at €30 – it has a 14-21 day turn around. Postage is extra- €10 in Ireland or €15-€20 outside of Ireland.
How many people can we bring?
We have six workshops, one workshop holds 18, three workshops hold 12 and a further one holds six. So for large numbers please note you can book out the building but you will be in different rooms for your own comfort. If you would like to find a larger venue you can!
Can Silver Works bring the party to us?
Yes! We will bring the fun to your own location so your group can relax in a place of your choosing.
Conditions
For our Forge a Ring and Make A Charm classes we facilitate a minimum 12 people and a maximum of 40 people. For our Wax Carving classes we facilitate a minimum of 12 people and there is no maximum number.
The workshop must be held in a bright room, and everyone needs to be seated at some kind of table! We can hold the class over a maximum of two rooms.

What are your Health and Safety requirements?

Is the venue accessible
Unfortunately, no. As both of our studios are located in very old and beautiful period buildings, we have lots of stairs and are therefore not accessible for people with impaired mobility.

We spent the last two days in Dublin and the ladies all went to a private silver ring making class at Silver Works while the guys went to the Jameson’s tour. Upon arrival at the store, we were guided upstairs to the studio where we were greeted by Jill and one of her colleagues. They explained what we were going to do, guided us through the safety gear and proper use of the various tools as we slowly and methodically transformed a simple strip of solid silver into a personalized and unique, custom made ring.
