For centuries, jewellery artisans have been sculpting their own designs from wax!

Uncover the lost ancient art of wax casting as you learn to carve your own ring in our fun and creative workshop. Embrace your true creativity with your ring design while our expert helps you bring your idea to life as you learning new skills. You will initially practise your designs on a wax sample and then you will hand-carve your own ring on your piece of wax.

When you’re finished your design, it’s ready to be sent off to be cast into sterling silver or gold. Your ring will return to us approximately 3 weeks later and our team of goldsmiths will finish the ring for you by sanding and polishing it beautifully. We let you know when your ring is available for collection, or we can organise to post it to you at an additional cost.

You will get an insight into this incredible, ancient craft with a highly-experienced goldsmith who works within the industry and has an abundance of jewellery making experience.

Can’t make it to one of our ring carving workshop? Why not try out an at home ring carving kit.

Yes. You can choose a thicker ring for an extra €25, including wax and casting.

  • How does the casting process work?

After the workshop we take your carving to professional casters who turn your wax carving into sterling silver, using the ancient lost wax casting technique. Yes, we offer a gold plating service. It’s €30 for a 14-21 day service turnaround. Simply let your teacher know and they will organise this for you.

Unfortunately, no. As both of our studios are located in very old and beautiful period buildings, we have lots of stairs and are therefore not accessible for people with impaired mobility.
