Whether you are interested in learning a new skill or want to create some new rings in a fun and relaxed environment, this workshop is for you.
During the workshop you will make three stacking rings all at 2mm in width in either round or square wire. Understanding the basics of goldsmithing, you’ll design, saw, solder, file hammer and polish your stacking rings. Experiment with textures and matt and shiny finishes to complete your personalised stacking ring look in just four hours. The result is a stunning handmade gift for yourself or a loved one! Many attendees of this workshop, having discovered a new hobby and love of the craft, go on to do our longer courses to deepen their knowledge.
You will get an insight into this incredible, ancient craft with a highly-experienced goldsmith who works within the industry and has an abundance of jewellery-design experience.

Yes! Unfortunately, even though the gold plating we put on is as thick as it gets there are no guarantees in gold plating. It is a coating that is put on top of your ring so it will eventually wear off with wear.
Some other things may speed up the process of how quickly it fades – whether you take it off to wash your hands, whether chemicals such as perfumes get on it and general wear and tear. We can replate it for you, it costs €30 + postage.

Yes, we offer a gold plating service. It’s €50 for all three stacking rings, €40 euro for two stacking rings and €30 for one stacking ring. It is a 14-21 day service turnaround. Simply let your teacher know and they will organise this for you.
You will be contacted by text when your rings are ready for collection. Alternatively, shipping is either an additional €10 (within Ireland) to €15 – €20 (outside of Ireland) depending on where you live.

Yes you can have stones set in your rings after the workshop for that added personal touch. Speak to your teacher during the workshop for further details.
