Whether you are interested in learning a new skill or want to create some new rings in a fun and relaxed environment, this workshop is for you.
During the workshop you will make three stacking rings all at 2mm in width in either round or square wire. Understanding the basics of goldsmithing, you’ll design, saw, solder, file hammer and polish your stacking rings. Experiment with textures and matt and shiny finishes to complete your personalised stacking ring look in just four hours. The result is a stunning handmade gift for yourself or a loved one! Many attendees of this workshop, having discovered a new hobby and love of the craft, go on to do our longer courses to deepen their knowledge.
You will get an insight into this incredible, ancient craft with a highly-experienced goldsmith who works within the industry and has an abundance of jewellery-design experience.

What will I learn in this workshop
Learn goldsmithing basics hands-on:
Pierce (saw) 2mm sterling silver to shape your ring.
Form and shape the rings using specialised pliers.
File your rings with different hand files for smoothness.
Texture rings with a planishing hammer for unique finishes.
Learn through demonstration and explanation:
Watch a live soldering demonstration by your instructor.
Polish your ring using a professional polishing motor.
Choose a matte or shiny finish for your ring’s look.

Yes, we offer a gold plating service. It’s €50 for all three stacking rings, €40 euro for two stacking rings and €30 for one stacking ring. It is a 14-21 day service turnaround. Simply let your teacher know and they will organise this for you.
You will be contacted by text when your rings are ready for collection. Alternatively, shipping is either an additional €10 (within Ireland) to €15 – €20 (outside of Ireland) depending on where you live.
Do you offer a stone-setting service?
Yes you can have stones set in your rings after the workshop for that added personal touch. Speak to your teacher during the workshop for further details.
Is the venue accessible
Unfortunately, no. As both of our studios are located in very old and beautiful period buildings, we have lots of stairs and are therefore not accessible for people with impaired mobility.

Fantastic class went with friends but people there on their own you come out with 3 beautiful rings you can make as stacked but I chose to do 1 for my thumb I absolute love them would highly recommend and would make a great gift.
