We are hosting two Silver Ring Pop Up Workshop in Galway at Tribe Gin School, Salthill, Co. Galway.
Taking place on January 26th 2026, with two of our most popular workshops – Claddagh ring at 3pm and Forge a Silver ring at 6.30pm. In both options you will create your very own Sterling silver ring in our 2 hour workshop. Please check out each individual workshop pages for a more in depth description and come back to this page to book either of the Galway workshops.
In both workshops you will learn the basics of silver-smithing from sawing, soldering, filing, hammering and polishing to create your own beautiful, handmade sterling silver ring! The workshop you choose is entirely up to you. You can create either a silver band or a Claddagh ring, Just keep in mind that the silver band and Claddagh ring workshops are separate, so they can’t be mixed
When forging your ring, you can choose from three different textures or a combination to make it even more unique!
You even get to choose whether you want a matt or shiny finish. You come away with a stunning handmade gift for yourself or a loved one, not to mention the basics of an incredible, ancient craft! Many of our workshop goers have discovered a new hobby and love of the craft, and gone on to undertake our longer part-time courses to deepen their knowledge. You will get an insight into this incredible, ancient craft with a highly-experienced goldsmith who works within the industry and has an abundance of jewellery making experience.

What an incredible experience at Silver Works. Kayleigh made us feel right at home, and was super encouraging throughout the whole process.
