Choosing your own Design to Pierce Out?
For an additional 10 euros, you can send us on a design that you’d really like to pierce out on your silver disc. The design must be sent one week in advance of your workshop to our email address enquiries@silverworks.ie
Please include your full name and booking reference within your email and one of our staff members will contact you in regards to your design.
Duration of Course
The class is approximately 2 hours long and costs 85 euros per person.
After you have finished
That’s it – your charm has been handmade by you! Add it to your necklace to wear as a pendant or add it to your charm bracelet as a keepsake of a time well spent! If you wish to purchase a necklace to add it to, we offer special discounts for our class goers – 20% off on all chains.
What you make
You will be given a brass square to practice different textures on using a hammer and also shown how to safely use your saw to cut through the brass. When ready, everyone will be given their silver disc to texture and you will have a choice of designs to choose from or we will have your pre-chosen design ready to go for you.
This class is for anyone from beginners up, some experience with the saw from our taste forge a ring class will be helpful but not essential.
You then have the option to personalise your disc even more with stamped initials or designs. Then you’ve got the big decision for your finished look – shiny or matte!
You are welcome to keep your brass practice plate – otherwise we will recycle everything.
